Welcome to Opal Cliffs Children Center, a nurturing and safe place for children to learn, play, and explore. Our Jr. Preschool Room, designed for children starting at age two, features age-appropriate furniture and cozy spaces that encourage exploration and social interaction. Moving into our Preschool Room, we offer a vibrant and dynamic space equipped with diverse learning materials that foster creativity and cognitive development. Our expansive outdoor play areas, including our garden, provide ample space for children to be active and safe. At Opal Cliffs Children Center, we prioritize safety, growth, and play for all children to thrive.
Site Director - Patty
Patty, the site director at Opal Cliff Children Center, brings almost 20 years of experience to her role as director. Patty is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for children's growth and development.
A proud resident of Castroville and a loving mother of three beautiful girls, Patty's journey in Early Childhood Education spans nearly 20 years. Her diverse experience includes working with Special Needs Preschool Programs, Head Start, Infant and Toddler program for Teen Mothers (Cal SAFE) in the Monterey Bay area, and operating to a privately owned daycare.
Beyond the inherent rewards of working with children, Patty finds fulfillment in collaborating with the families in the communities she serves. Her passion lies in ensuring that both children and their families feel a sense of safety and security under her care—a commitment that reflects her primary goal in Early Childhood Education.
