Alturas Infant & Toddler Center
The Alturas Site boasts a secure and aesthetically pleasing entrance, requiring either a passcode or assistance from our staff for entry. The Infant room offers a spacious and well-lit play area, complemented by cribs for infants and mini mattresses for toddlers, creating a serene atmosphere.
Across the hallway, past the playroom, a generously sized room with ample sunlight features furniture designed with soft edges, accompanied by an abundance of toys, books, and soft blocks for toddlers to engage in play and learning.
Two outdoor areas at the front and back of the premises provide children with opportunities to enjoy fresh air, equipped with sandboxes, toy cars, and a slide. Patches of grass in these areas ensure a safe and cushioned surface for exploration, minimizing the risk of injury.
Overall, the Alturas Site emanates a warm, controlled, and welcoming atmosphere.
Site Director - Cynthia Evans
Cynthia, the accomplished Site Director at Alturas Infant and Toddler Center within Campus Kids Connection, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role. Commencing her journey with CKC in 2013, Cynthia has seamlessly transitioned through various pivotal roles, including Infant/Toddler teacher, Preschool teacher, Assistant Director, and her current position as Site Director.
Her educational prowess is marked by an A.S in Early Childhood Education and an A.S in Medical Assisting, showcasing a unique blend of expertise. Notably, Cynthia briefly transitioned into healthcare during the pandemic, serving as a medical assistant for two years. This experience reinforced her unwavering commitment to assisting individuals and their families.
On a personal front, Cynthia is a devoted wife and mother, residing in Santa Cruz with her husband Kyle and their two children, Kaiden and Abigale. Her professional journey is deeply rooted in a genuine passion for working with children, stemming from her upbringing in a large family where she assumed the role of babysitter for her cousins.
As the Site Director at Alturas, Cynthia is resolutely committed to cultivating a nurturing environment for both the dedicated staff and the privileged families they serve. Her multifaceted background and genuine dedication underscore her capacity to lead and enrich the early childhood experience at Alturas Infant and Toddler Center.
