Beyond, a generously sized room with soft-edged furniture and abundant play materials allows toddlers to express themselves and engage in learning. Expansive outdoor areas, equipped with play essentials, offer a secure space for children to be active and productive in the embrace of natural sunlight. With lush patches of grass and sand minimizing the risk of injury, Opal Cliffs Children Center fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere, promoting both safety and developmental engagement.
Site Director - Patty Lopez
Patty Lopez, the esteemed Director at Opal Cliff Children Center, brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as one of the preschool directors for CKC. Delighted to have the opportunity, Patty is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment for children's growth and development.
A proud resident of Castroville and a loving mother of three beautiful girls, Patty's journey in Early Childhood Education spans nearly 19 years. Her diverse experience includes working with exceptional programs such as State Preschool, Special Needs Program, Head Start, Infant and Toddler program for Teen Mothers (Cal SAFE) in the Monterey Bay area, and contributing to a privately owned daycare.
The culmination of these experiences has shaped Patty into the dedicated professional she is today. Beyond the inherent rewards of working with children, Patty finds fulfillment in collaborating with the families in the communities she serves. Her passion lies in ensuring that both children and their families feel a profound sense of safety and security under her care—a commitment that reflects her primary goal in Early Childhood Education.
